"My favorite Ranger to fly fpv large enough to carry li-ion battery 30 minutes flights and it handles beautifully"

Fine plane

"Got it in a timely manner at a good price"

Somewhat disappointed

"I found this plane out of the box to be somewhat disappointing. It seemed very underpowered during maiden attempts. I finally got it to fly but poorly and not easily controlled because of lack of power. Several club members have suggested changing the prop to the next pitch size up and I’m reading the battery to a 2600 or 2800. I’ve taken these suggestions and will try the new setup once the weather improves."

not the best electronics in the ready to fly version

"watched youtube videos on this plane all said servos are crappy and the motor is under powered.. so i replaces the serovs the esc and the motor.. then i thought all was good.. after 7 several good flights all went to hell.. the wings snap in place with a clip system, however the clip failed while in flight and caused a spiral of death.. other then the issues i stated plane is decent.. with the mods i noted"

Should be ordered as a kit

"Very lofty, but need to order the kit. Flies very well after trimming. Will eventually need to pull all the cheap plastic gear servos and replace with 9 gram all metal geared ones, replace the ESC and motor to better ones and increase the pitch of prop as you cannot increase length 8X6.4 or maybe a 3 blade if you can locate one (Masterscrew). I am gonna make this a long range FPV with 1.2Gz and a Dragonlink."

Good durable beginner plane

"Good beginner airplane. Durable and easy to fly. The only shortcoming was the battery hatch needed a more secure fastening. I made a small post on either side of the canopy and secured that canopy with a rubber band."

Great value

"I bought this glider to learn to fly fpv, and it has been very good. It is a real value, flies well and is well made. The fuselage is made of durable plastic and the wings are carbon fiber reinforced foam. It is easynto fly and went together easily. If something happens to this one I will definitely order another one."

Q&A

how do i get a radio and battery and charger for this plane i have the PNP model 2nd hand from the previous owner and now i need the above equipment to fly this plane please help Thank you
Hello with the PNP model you can use any charger, receiver, and transmitter you would like. Here are some recommendations. For the charger tenergy is a great budget brand. For the transmitter there are mainly two options that I know of there is Radiomaster which offers lots of flexibility but is more complicated to beginners or there is spectrum which is more expensive but simpler. Finally receivers you can go with a flight controller connected to a receiver like the matek or pixhawk. You can also go for a simple approach with just a standard receiver but keep in mind this plane can fly for up to 30min. Hope this helps Please let me know if you have any more questions 😀👍
